I though tthat you two have very beautiful names.  Here is a postcard from city where I live and study.  Krakow is former capital of Poland and it's historical centre is at UNESCO's heritage list.  At the Hawel Hill there is the Royal Castle dated firstly about at 13th century adn expanded until 16th.  There is cathedral at the hill, too.  And the statue of dragon - it comes from the legend, which every child in Poland knows very well. :)  By the way, I must say, that I looked at your postcards wall and I love the postcards you're sending (I love Yellowstone cards! Today we are sending out a postcard to Ershui Township, Changhua County, Taiwan.  The town has been documented since 1621, in the Ming Dynasty.

Archaeological revelations of Zuozhen people indicated that the Tainan region has been inhabited for at least 20-30,000 years!
Momofuku Ando is a famous person from Tainan, he was the founder of Nissin Foods and the inventory of instant noodles!  In other words, Top Ramen and Cup Noodles (Much More Than a Soup!)!  So cool to learn.

Bei-Yi is a big fan of Harry Potter!  And guess what?  So are we!
New Taipei City was incorporated December 25, 2010... I've said that a time or two... :)

We received our 20th card from Mei-Ling in southern Taiwan.  She sent us a beautiful card of Alishan, with it's "sea of clouds."  This is common in the autumn time.  The Alishan National Scenic Area looks beautiful.  Alishan is said to be one of the two most well-known scenic spots in Asia, and I can see why!  We would love to visit here someday.

Yes, Grand Coulee Dam is BIG!   It is the largest electric power-producing facility in the United States and one of the largest concrete structures in the world!  (Wikipedia)

25th, 26th, and 27th Out, Taiwan, Lithuania, and France

The 25th postcard that we are mailing is going to Xinzhuang City, Taiwan.  Xinzhuang City was incorporated into the New Taipei on December 25th, 2010.  We've sent another card to a city that was incorporated at the same time.  The Shifen waterfall is nearby and is VERY beautiful!

Our 26th card is going to Prienai, Lithuania.  Prienai is located along the Neman River.  The city was first documented in 1502 and was granted city rights in 1609.

The 27th card is going out to Trith-Saint-Leger, France.  Trith-Saint-Leger is a commune in the Nord.  The Nord was founded during the french revolution on March 4, 1790.

10th - New Taipei

We mailed out our 10th postcard today, to Luzhou City, Taipei County, which changed it's name to New Taipei on December 25, 2010.  (My birthday :) )

Yay for Taipei!

Today I got a message that the Taipei postcard was received.  She sent a nice message telling us about the National Theater and Concert Hall, and WOW, it is beautiful!  Thanks for the pointer on where to look for something really neat!
