This card came to us from Belarus.  On this card you can see some symbols of Belarus.  First, the national red and white ornament (the elements of it are on the national flag).  And there’s a national dish “draniki” something like pancakes, but made of potatoes, served with sour cream.

This card came to us from Nova Scotia, Canada. 

This card came to us from Nemo in Beijing.  Dali located northwest of Yunnan Province, 300 im northwest of Kunning.  Dali City is the economic and cultural center of the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.  The area  is surrounded by mountains on the east, west, and south and has the Erhai Lake in its center.  Here you will find 25 ethnic minorities, which have created a unique cultural heritage amidst the area’s picturesque surroundings.  WOW, Thank you for all the information!

Ruth sent us this card from Germany.  It is from the old Hanseatic city Weel in the west of Germany.  On the card the pictures show 1.  First Protestant Church, 2. Kotn Markt, 3. Cathedral, 4. Bridge of old citadell, 5. monument of Peter Minuitone of the founders of NY, 6. BerlinerTor with donkey, 7. new bridge crossing the river Rhine with old bridge in front.

This postcard is from Japan, the island of Rebun.  They have seaweed ice cream, and it is delicious (so says Carlee :) )
