Turku, Finland Received

We learned so much about Turku, Finland from this card.
I'm going to re-type what Eerakaa wrote on the back of this large card.
Turku is my home town.  It's the European Capital of Culture for 2011.  Turku was earlier the capital of Finland, but no more.  There are tens of thousands of islands in the Turku archipelago, with this incredible number of islands, the Saaristomeri Sea is somewhat unique in the world.  Wonderful Ruissalo is Turku's most famous island.  The former hunting grounds for the court of Turku Castle, Ruissalo is located right outside the city limits and can be reached easily by land or sea.
Finland's president is Tarja Halonen, she has been very popular.  Helsinki is the capital of Finland.  Tampere, Vantaa, Espoo, and Oulu are also the biggest cities in Finland.  Turku Cathedral, Turku Castle, Turku Art Museum, Turku City Library are very popular places.

Wow!  We sure learned a lot!
