88th Received, United Kingdom

This really neat postcard came to us from Dartmoor.
"Today Becky Falls is a very popular tourist destination and has been since it first opened to the public in 1903.  However modern tourists are not the first people to appreciate the area.  There is evidence of Bronze and Iron age settlements and medieval villages near the falls.  During these times Dartmoor would have been a remote wilderness and Becky Falls a place of shelter, giving access to water and wood."
