This postcard came from Avion in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.  She wrote, "I live in a  little village on a lake in the north of the Netherlands.  Normal it's very quiet here.  But it has rained so much and storm, the levees broke and people had to evaquete (go away rapid).  We were not in danger because a land flooded where not many people live.  A lot of cattle had to move.  Normal, it freezes here and many people skate."
